Information disclosure via DGN parser over-read
Published Feb 18, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in DGN parsing in Bentley Systems Bentley View 10.15.0.75 allows remote attackers to disclose process memory. The DGN parser fails to validate user-supplied file data before reading beyond the end of an allocated buffer. Exploitation requires the target to visit a malicious page or open a malicious DGN file; the flaw exposes memory and can support a separate code-execution exploit.
