Information disclosure via DGN out-of-bounds read
Published Feb 18, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Bentley Systems MicroStation CONNECT 10.16.0.80 allows remote attackers to disclose data via a crafted DGN file. The DGN parser fails to validate user-supplied data before reading past the end of an allocated buffer. Exploitation requires the target to visit a malicious page or open the file; the resulting disclosure can aid a separate code-execution exploit.
