CVE-2021-46625

Remote code execution via JT double free

Published Feb 18, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Double-free in Bentley View 10.15.0.75 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a malicious JT file opened by a user. The JT parser frees an object without validating that the object exists, enabling memory corruption during file handling. Exploitation requires user interaction to open the crafted file and runs code in the current process with its privileges.
