Database disclosure via unescaped add-user fields
Published Jan 31, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in the add-user handler of Victor CMS 1.0 allows remote attackers to read database data through crafted POST fields. The handler directly interpolates user_name, user_firstname, user_lastname, and user_email into an INSERT query executed by mysqli_query. The session guard redirects unauthenticated requests without terminating execution, so no valid session is required; the reported impact is limited to database confidentiality.
