Unauthenticated CGI file creation via HTTP PUT
Published Apr 7, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Improper authorization in Telesquare TLR-2855KS6 allows remote attackers to create CGI scripts through unauthenticated HTTP PUT requests. The appliance web server accepts PUT at /cgi-bin/testing_cve.txt and writes the supplied request body without checking authorization. The network service must be reachable; successful exploitation changes appliance content, but no disclosure or service interruption is established.
