Session hijacking via unescaped authentication URI
Published Mar 1, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in Zyxel ZyWALL 2 Plus allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in a user's browser through a crafted URI. The /Forms/rpAuth_1 handler reflects the id query parameter into HTML without neutralizing injected tags and event-handler code. Exploitation requires a user to open the attacker-crafted request; successful script execution can hijack the user's appliance session or clipboard.
