Configuration disclosure via unauthenticated config.dat request
Published Mar 4, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Incorrect access control in D-Link DIR-850L firmware 1.08TRb03 allows remote attackers to download the router configuration. The web interface serves /config.dat directly without requiring an authenticated session. A network-reachable HTTP interface is sufficient, and the demonstrated request exposes configuration data without altering the device.
