Cross-site scripting in OCS Inventory 2.9.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute stored script via a manipulated device name. The server stores a device name supplied through inventory data and later renders it without adequate output neutralization, allowing attacker-controlled markup or script to run in a web console viewed by a user. Exploitation requires authenticated access to submit or alter a device name and a victim to view the affected console page; the documented consequence is script execution in that browser context with confidentiality and integrity impact but no availability impact.
