Unauthenticated command execution via cmd parameter
Published Feb 4, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Command injection in D-Link DI-7200GV2 revision E1 firmware 21.04.09E1 allows remote attackers on the LAN to execute arbitrary commands. The msp_info.htm handler passes the attacker-controlled cmd parameter to command execution without sufficient neutralization. Network access to the device's LAN-side management interface is required; successful exploitation runs arbitrary commands with the firmware service's privileges.
