Unauthenticated command execution via proxy parameter injection
Published Feb 4, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Command injection in D-Link DI-7200GV2.E1 firmware 21.04.09E1 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands over the network. The proxy_client.asp handler incorporates the proxy_srv, proxy_srvport, proxy_lanip, and proxy_lanport parameters into command execution without neutralizing command syntax. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied commands in the device's execution context.
