Database query manipulation via unvalidated link ID
Published Jan 19, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in Taocms 3.0.2 allows remote attackers to manipulate database queries through a crafted management-link ID. Article.php's update() method passes the incoming ID into an SQL statement without applying intval(), while the CVE record separately reports arbitrary file reads through a path parameter without disclosing the responsible locus. The proof of concept targets the management-link edit action; the referenced issue does not establish whether that action requires authentication or bound the resulting database impact.
