Unauthorized mass page edits via missing CSRF token

CSRF in MediaWiki before 1.35.5, 1.36.x before 1.36.3, and 1.37.x before 1.37.1 allows remote attackers to trigger mass page edits via MassEditRegex. The SpecialMassEditRegex form accepts a state-changing POST without validating an anti-CSRF token, allowing crafted content to submit attacker-chosen replacement parameters. A logged-in user must load the crafted content while holding the masseditregex permission, which is assigned to no group by default; exploitation can rewrite multiple wiki pages under that user's authority.
