Stored script execution via forged admin requests
Published Jan 6, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored XSS in Vehicle Service Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through forged admin requests. Multiple admin forms accept forged state-changing submissions and store unsanitized Full Name, Owner Contact, Category Name, Service Name, First Name, or System Name values. An authenticated administrator must open attacker-controlled HTML; the script executes when an administrator later views the affected record or settings page.
