Authenticated stored XSS via Service List fields
Published Jan 6, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Vehicle Service Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via the Service List login panel. The Service Name and Description fields accept a payload that is stored and later rendered without neutralization, causing JavaScript to run when the list is viewed. An administrator must log in, create or save a service entry, and a victim must load the affected page; the demonstrated impact includes cookie disclosure and actions in the victim's browser.
