CVE-2021-46062Public exploit

Arbitrary file deletion via oldFileName path

Published Feb 18, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Arbitrary file deletion in Mingsoft MCMS before 5.2.11 allows attackers to delete server files via a crafted template update request. The /template/writeFileContent handler passes the attacker-controlled oldFileName value to FileUtil for deletion when that value is present. Published scoring requires local access and user interaction, while the public report places the request in template management; deleted files can corrupt site content or interrupt service.
