Stored XSS in JavaQuarkBBS 2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in a victim's browser through tag records. The background tag-management module accepts script markup in both a tag name and its detail field, stores it in the database, and renders it when another user opens the module. An authenticated user must create a crafted tag and another user must view the tag-management page; the resulting script runs in that viewer's browser context.
