Published Dec 27, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site scripting in the LuCI NAT Rules Name screen in OpenWrt 21.02.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. The public record identifies the rule-name input and display path but does not disclose the responsible function or exact missing output-encoding operation. An authenticated user must save a crafted NAT rule name and another user must open the screen, where script runs within that viewer's LuCI origin.
