Remote code execution via PHAR deserialization
Published Jan 28, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
PHAR deserialization in SuiteCRM before 7.12.3 and 8.x before 8.0.2 allows remote attackers to execute code on the server. The public record and SuiteCRM release notes do not identify the entry point or file operation that deserializes attacker-controlled PHAR metadata. Network access to an affected deployment is sufficient; successful exploitation runs code with the web application's server-side privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
