User-data disclosure via concatenated backup identifier
Published Mar 17, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in SLiMS 9 Bulian 9.4.2 allows remote attackers to read user data through a crafted backup download request. The backup.php download handler concatenates the GET id value into a SELECT on backup_log_id, enabling boolean- and time-based blind queries. No authentication or user interaction is required according to NVD, and successful exploitation exposes database information without modifying it or interrupting service.
