Unauthenticated file disclosure via unchecked upload path
Published Feb 23, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Path traversal in WeBankPartners WeCube Platform 3.2.1 allows remote attackers to read sensitive server files through a crafted file parameter. PluginPackageController passes the uploaded MultipartFile to PluginArtifactsMgmtService, which uses its unchecked name to construct the destination File without validation or a canonical-path boundary check. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the published impact is limited to files accessible to the server process.
