Unauthenticated command execution via undisclosed input handling
Published Dec 26, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Command injection in NETGEAR CBR40, CBR750, and Orbi 750/850 WiFi systems allows remote attackers to execute commands before authentication. NETGEAR has not published the affected interface, parameter, or command-construction path, so the precise input-handling error is undisclosed. Network access to CBR40 before 2.5.0.24, CBR750 before 4.6.3.6, or the listed Orbi 750/850 models before 3.2.17.12 is sufficient for arbitrary command execution on the device.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
