Unauthenticated command execution via undisclosed input handling
Published Dec 26, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Command injection in affected NETGEAR WiFi system firmware allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands without authentication. NETGEAR has not published the affected interface, input field, or command-construction operation that mishandles attacker-controlled data. Reachability requires local-network access, and exploitation permits command execution on CBR750 and Orbi 750/850 devices without credentials.
