Unauthenticated command execution
Published Dec 26, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Command injection in NETGEAR router firmware allows remote attackers to execute commands without authentication on affected models. NETGEAR does not identify the affected request handler, input field, command sink, or missing neutralization in its advisory. Exploitation requires adjacent-network access and no user interaction; successful requests execute attacker-chosen commands on the router.
