CVE-2021-45607

Device compromise via undisclosed stack overflow

Published Dec 26, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Stack overflow in NETGEAR router firmware allows remote authenticated users to expose or modify device data or interrupt service. NETGEAR has not disclosed the affected component, the oversized input, or the operation that overruns a stack buffer. Affected builds are R6400v2 and R6700v3 before 1.0.4.118, R6900P and R7000P before 1.3.3.140, R7000 before 1.0.11.126, and RAX200, RAX75, and RAX80 before 1.0.5.126; exploitation requires high-privileged authentication and adjacent-network access.
