CVE-2021-45587

Authenticated command execution via undisclosed command injection

Published Dec 26, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024

Command injection in six NETGEAR Orbi WiFi models before 3.2.16.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. NETGEAR has not published the affected interface, input parameter, command-building locus, or the operation that fails to neutralize input. Access requires high privileges from an adjacent network, and successful injection can read or alter data and interrupt service through commands executed with the vulnerable process's authority.
