Unauthenticated device access from adjacent networks
Published Dec 26, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Authentication bypass in affected NETGEAR Orbi WiFi systems allows attackers to obtain device access from an adjacent network. NETGEAR has not published the affected authentication locus or the operation that accepts an unauthenticated request. No credentials or user interaction are required, but reachability is limited to an adjacent network; confidentiality, integrity, and availability can all be affected.
