Cleartext credential storage in 3CX Phone System through 2022-03-17 allows remote authenticated users to read stored passwords. The system writes passwords to its SQL database in recoverable form and exposes them through credential export in the management interface. Access to the administrative export or SQL database is required; disclosed passwords can be reused against affected accounts.
