Remote file write via add_server API
Published Dec 26, 2022 · Updated Apr 14, 2025
Arbitrary file write in Control Web Panel before 0.9.8.1107 allows remote attackers to write authorized_keys through the add_server API. The handler appends attacker-controlled data to a TXT file in /resources without enforcing the required API authorization. The file-write request requires API access; the documented pre-authentication code-execution chain obtains a key and includes the file through a separate flaw.
