CVE-2021-45446Network attack vector

Resource index disclosure via hidden-property inheritance failure

Published Nov 2, 2022 · Updated May 2, 2025

Information disclosure in Pentaho Business Analytics Server versions before 8.3.0.25 or 9.2.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to list resources. The Home folder's hidden property is not cascaded to its children, causing directory enumeration to return their complete resource index. Access to the authenticated repository interface is required, and exposure is limited to resource names and any listed content separately readable by that account.
