Unauthenticated file upload via enabled HTTP PUT
Published Jan 3, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Incorrect access control in Telesquare TLR-2005KSH allows remote attackers to upload arbitrary HTML and CGI files through HTTP PUT. The device HTTP service accepts unauthenticated PUT requests and stores attacker-supplied HTML or CGI content without enforcing access control. The direct consequence is an unauthenticated arbitrary file write; uploaded CGI content executes only when the destination invokes it as CGI.
