Application hang via signed bit-shift loop

Infinite-loop handling in GPAC 1.0.1 allows context-dependent attackers to hang MP4Box by processing a crafted media file. The gf_get_bit_size function shifts a signed integer while deriving a bit count, allowing the comparison's exit condition to remain unreachable for a large attacker-influenced value. Exploitation requires a user or workflow to invoke MP4Box with the -hint option on the crafted file, consuming CPU until the process is terminated.
