Published Dec 22, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
An invalid free in gpac 1.1.0 allows attackers to cause an application crash via crafted SVG attribute processing. The gf_svg_delete_attribute_value function frees an attribute value incorrectly, producing a segmentation fault during GPAC processing. Reaching the flaw requires processing attacker-influenced SVG content; the documented consequence is service interruption through process termination, with no reported confidentiality or integrity impact.
