Reflected XSS via unescaped search input
Published Jan 24, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site scripting in COINS Construction Cloud 11.12 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser via malicious links. The search and activity view windows reflect attacker-controlled parameters without proper input neutralization, allowing injected JavaScript to run in the rendered response. Exploitation requires a victim to open a crafted link; the consequence is browser-context data access or actions, not direct server compromise.
