Sensitive-memory disclosure via Format event use-after-free
Published Jan 14, 2022 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Use-after-free in affected Adobe Acrobat Reader releases allows context-dependent attackers to disclose sensitive memory through a crafted file. Format event action processing accesses an object after its memory has been freed, exposing residual contents that can weaken ASLR. Exploitation requires a victim to open a malicious file; the published impact is memory disclosure without integrity or availability loss.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
