Code execution via embedded-font out-of-bounds read
Published Jan 14, 2022 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Acrobat Reader affected releases allows attackers to execute code through a crafted file. Embedded-font processing fails to validate attacker-controlled data before reading past the end of an allocated buffer. User interaction is required: a victim must visit a malicious page or open the file, and affected branches are 21.007.20099 and earlier, 20.004.30017 and earlier, and 17.011.30204 and earlier.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
