Memory disclosure via out-of-bounds TIF parsing
Published Jan 14, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Bridge 11.1.2 and earlier and 12.0 and earlier allows attackers to disclose memory via a malicious TIF file. Bridge reads beyond valid memory bounds while processing the crafted TIF, although Adobe has not identified the affected parser routine. A victim must open the file; exposed process memory can reveal sensitive data and help bypass ASLR, with no reported integrity or availability impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
