Administrative shell access via hard-coded debug credentials
Published Jan 11, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Hard-coded credentials in Siemens SICAM A8000 before 16.20 allow remote attackers to access an administrative shell through an enabled debug port. The undocumented debug service accepts embedded default credentials instead of device-specific credentials. A privileged user must first enable the port, and an attacker must know the credentials; successful access grants administrative shell control.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
