Panel data insertion via missing CSRF tokens
Published Feb 20, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Plesk 18.0.37 allows remote attackers to insert data in user and administrator panels via crafted requests. The reported panel requests accept state-changing submissions without a CSRF token, causing an authenticated browser session to submit attacker-supplied data. A user or administrator must be logged in and interact with attacker-controlled content; Plesk disputes general product impact and calls the issue site-specific.
