Unauthenticated code execution via unrestricted image upload
Published Jan 10, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Remote code execution in Laundry Booking Management System 1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute PHP code via an image upload. The profile.php edit-profile handler accepts the image parameter without permission validation or a safe file-type restriction, allowing a PHP webshell to be stored and invoked. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied code in the web server's context.
