Stored script execution via unsanitized page content
Published Feb 10, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in MiniCMS 1.11 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in visitors' browsers via page content. The page-edit.php handler trims and serializes the submitted content field without neutralizing HTML or script before the published page renders it. A logged-in content author must publish the payload and a visitor must open the page; execution can read or alter data available to that page.
