Stored script execution via unsanitized model fields
Published Jan 1, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in DMP Roadmap before 3.0.4 allows remote attackers to execute script in another user's browser. The User and Plan models save multiple fields without sanitizing attacker-supplied markup, allowing that markup to persist and render as active content. Exploitation requires another user to view the stored content; the script can read or alter data available to that browser session.
