Unauthenticated database query manipulation via category identifier
Published Feb 17, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in Mingsoft MCMS 5.1 allows remote attackers to manipulate database queries through the content-list endpoint. ContentBizImpl passes the unneutralized contentCategoryId value through queryIdsByCategoryIdForParser into the IContentDao SQL mapping. No authentication or user interaction is required; the demonstrated consequence is attacker-controlled query execution and a database timing delay.
