Information disclosure via unvalidated TGA buffer read
Published Dec 21, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Out-of-bounds read in Open Design Alliance Drawings SDK before 2022.12 allows attackers to disclose process memory via crafted TGA files. The TGA parser fails to validate file-controlled data before reading past the end of an allocated buffer. A victim must open the file or visit a malicious page; code execution requires chaining with another vulnerability.
