Code execution via unrestricted JDBC Appender JNDI lookup

Remote code execution in Apache Log4j 2 2.0-beta7 through 2.17.0 allows attackers with configuration write access to run code. DataSourceConnectionSource passes the configured JNDI name directly to InitialContext.lookup, allowing an LDAP URI to resolve an attacker-controlled data source and load code. Exploitation requires write access to the non-default JDBC Appender configuration and control of its LDAP endpoint; 2.3.2 and 2.12.4 are excluded from the affected span.
