Arbitrary code execution via improper URL handling
Published Mar 6, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Universal cross-site scripting in F-Secure SAFE Browser for Android 18.5 allows remote attackers to execute code through crafted web content. Browser protection mishandles a crafted URL while processing browsed content, allowing attacker-controlled script to cross normal page-origin boundaries. A user must interact with the malicious content; successful exploitation exposes session cookies and allows arbitrary code execution in the browser context.
