Authenticated code execution via packet-capture filter injection

Command injection in Lexmark printer firmware allows remote authenticated users to execute code through the embedded web server. The /usr/share/web/cgi-bin/sniffcapture_post script embeds a packet-capture filter from a POST body in an argument string passed to eval without validating shell metacharacters. Access requires authentication and local-network reachability; successful injection runs commands as the embedded web server's httpd account.
