Use-after-free in Format event actions in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 21.007.20099 and earlier allows attackers to execute code through a malicious PDF. The Format action handler accesses an object after its lifetime ends while processing the crafted document; finer implementation details are undisclosed. Exploitation requires a user to open the file, and resulting code runs with that user's privileges.
