Administrative credential disclosure via unauthenticated backup endpoint
Published Nov 14, 2025 · Updated Nov 14, 2025
Missing authentication in PLANEX CS-QP50F-ING2 firmware version 0 allows remote attackers to retrieve a configuration backup over HTTP. The /web/cgi-bin/hi3510/backup.cgi endpoint serves a gzip-compressed backup without verifying a session, and the archive contains administrative credentials. No authentication or user interaction is required; disclosed credentials grant administrative camera access and expose monitored-environment data.
