Authenticated code execution via traversed language upload

Unrestricted file upload in Xerte 3.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute code through a crafted language file. website_code/php/import/fileupload.php trusts the mediapath request value, allowing path traversal to overwrite an executable .inc language file despite the extension blacklist. Project access permits the upload, and loading the affected page executes the attacker's PHP code on the server.
