Unauthenticated code execution via executable file upload
Published Nov 10, 2025 · Updated Nov 10, 2025
Unrestricted file upload in Employee Records System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code without authentication. The uploadID.php handler accepts an employee_ID multipart file, performs no server-side type validation, and stores it beneath /uploads/employees_ids/ with its .php extension intact. The unauthenticated upload directory is web-accessible, so requesting the stored script executes attacker-controlled commands on the server.
